
Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan pendekatan hegemoni Gramsci digunakan untuk menyoroti pendominasian dari berjalannya Ideological state aparatus. Pendekatan analitis Ideological state aparatus yang digagas oleh Althusser digunakan untuk mengungkap permainan makna ideologis dalam shalawatan. IntisariPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna ideologis dan bentuk penghegemonian dalam shalawatan masyarakat Jawa yang populer di zamannya. The result of this research are offer processes containing idealist that have the ability, identification, appreciation and punishment in shalling moral, ethical, and religious people.Keywords: Ideology hegemony shalawatan meaning identity. The object that is read is the meaning of persuasion, identity, appreciation, and punishment in prayer through the study of the state apparatus and hegemony. This research method is descriptive qualitative.

While discussing the Gramsci hegemony, it is used to discuss the domination of the ideological state apparatus. Analytical choice The ideological state apparatus initiated by Althusser is used to uncover the play of ideological meaning in prayer. This study aims to describe the ideological meaning and the form of hegemonicism in the prayers of the popular Javanese people of their time. Thus, the media can be an instrument or strategy to overcome the turmoil of Islamophobia by involving a synergy of government, Islamic organizations, and institutions of higher education.

On the other hand, the media is an information agent which has role to provide education and social change effects (manifest functions). They become the cause for the outbreak of Islamophobia symptoms (latent functions). In the case of Islamophobia, media became the object of analysis because it has the dichotomy function. The phenomenon of Islamophobia can be assessed by two perspectives: sociological and psychological. Prejudice is based on a claim that Islam is an inferior religion and can threat the dominant values in society. Islamophobia associated with negative prejudices against Muslims and Islam, and lead to construction of anti-Islam. Therefore, some states are worried and suspicious toward Muslims (Islamophobia) up to the present.

P>A stereotype appears and describes that Islam is the cause of a series of terror. The study concluded the adapted religious dangdut koplo songs could be an interesting media in the millennial da’wah. This showed that in the process of adaptation and dissemination, the adolescents played as an adaptation agent, distribution agent, and agent of change. Regarding the distribution patterns of the adapted songs, there were two dominant media utilized, YouTube channels and Taklim assembly which was usually done by santri and non-santri youth. The devotional lyrics were characterized by advice, advocating goodness, encouraging people to stay away from evil, loving the prophet more, and social criticism. This was done so that people remained familiar with the dangdut music they enjoyed with a touch of religion. The research found out the youth adapted the lyrics from dangdut koplo into religious dangdut by changing the lyrics with the same arrangement. In analyzing the data, the researcher used the theory of cultural adaptation, social media, and Roland Barthes’ semiotics. Purposively, this qualitative study relied on some lyrics of dangdut koplo songs adapted by the into more religious ones. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of youth in adapting dangdut koplo songs to songs that have da’wah value, and the the relationship between popular culture and religion in the adapted songs.
